Job Description:
As a Delivery Driver at Takeout Central, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and in excellent condition. You'll be the face of our company, representing our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely Deliveries: Safely and efficiently deliver orders to customers' locations within specified timeframes.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Navigation: Use GPS and local knowledge to determine the quickest and safest routes for deliveries.
- Order Accuracy: Verify orders and ensure that all items are included before leaving the restaurant.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of your delivery vehicle (car, bike, scooter, etc.).
- Safety: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the road.
- Communication: Keep open lines of communication with our dispatch team to provide real-time updates on your progress.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a reliable mode of transportation (sorry, only automobiles at this time, no motorcycles or bicycles).
- Reasonable driving record and a commitment to safe driving practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Smartphone with GPS capability.
